Catholic Charities Appeal Press Conference 2021 

On Monday, January 25, 2021, Archbishop Pérez officially launched the 2021 Catholic Charities Appeal (CCA), Giving Hope to All. Speakers also included Bill Phelan, CCA Board President; Patrick Walsh, Martha's Choice Marketplace and Kathleen Clark, Lily's Gift. 

Archbishop Pérez said, “By supporting the Catholic Charities Appeal, you are feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, supporting veterans, those in recovery, and helping students with special needs to receive the Catholic education they deserve. You are helping desperate families get back on their feet and bringing joy to the lives of the aged and lonely. It is important to remind ourselves of the incredible work being done through the Appeal and how our brothers and sisters in need are encouraged, helped, and inspired with grace and dignity.”

The Catholic Charities Appeal brings hope where hope is needed most.  From center city, to the suburbs, from the suburban communities to our most distressed communities, almost a million people each year receive hope through the Catholic Charities Appeal.
